Kansas Basketball Teams Announce 2025-26 Conference Schedules
Lawrence, KS — The Kansas Jayhawks basketball programs have revealed their conference opponents and venues for the upcoming 2025-26 Big 12 season.
On the men’s side, each team will play 18 conference games, a reduction from last year’s 20. Kansas will face home-and-home series against Arizona, Iowa State, and rival Kansas State. The Jayhawks will also host Baylor, BYU, Cincinnati, Houston, TCU, and Utah, while traveling to Arizona State, UCF, Colorado, Oklahoma State, Texas Tech, and West Virginia. Notably, this season marks the first time Kansas will travel to Arizona and Arizona State since their entry into the new-look Big 12. Scheduled appearances include a trip to face Colorado, coached by former Kansas players Tad Doyle and Danny Manning. Moreover, Utah will make its inaugural visit to Allen Fieldhouse, following last year’s contest in which Kansas fell to the Utes on the road.
Meanwhile, the Kansas women’s basketball team will continue with an 18-game schedule, maintaining the structure introduced with the Big 12’s expansion. The Jayhawks will play home-and-home series against Kansas State, Oklahoma State, and Texas Tech while hosting BYU, Cincinnati, Colorado, Houston, Utah, and West Virginia. They will visit Arizona, Arizona State, Baylor, Iowa State, TCU, and UCF. This season will also be significant for the women’s team as they make their first trips to Tucson and Tempe since Arizona and Arizona State joined the conference.
While the full nonconference schedule for both teams is not yet finalized, both squads are set to begin their league play around late December, continuing the excitement of Kansas basketball in the Big 12.
