Suspect facing new charges in Kansas City for child sex trafficking

Keith N. Fletcher Sr., a man previously accused of multiple child sex crimes, is now facing new charges in Kansas City after two girls reported he raped them. The incident occurred in 2022 when two juvenile females working for Fletcher reported that he sexually assaulted them while selling shoes. Fletcher, a registered sex offender with a history of similar crimes, was taken into custody in December 2022 but was not charged until April 2025.

Fletcher is also facing child sex crimes charges in Boone County for incidents that allegedly occurred in 2023. His previous charges include twelve counts of child molestation, six counts of child sex trafficking, and others. In light of the new charges, Fletcher is now facing additional counts of statutory rape and sodomy in Kansas City. A hearing for the Boone County cases is scheduled for May 12, while no date has been set for the Jackson County charges.

If convicted in Jackson County, Fletcher could face life in prison. He is currently in custody in Boone County with no bond listed. The case is ongoing, and further details have not been released.
