Lyon County Democrats to Host Town Hall for 2nd Congressional District of Kansas
Emporia, Kansas – The Lyon County Democrats are teaming up with the Kansas Democratic Party to host a Town Hall for the 2nd Congressional District of Kansas. The event will take place on Tuesday, April 22, 2025, at 6 p.m. on the 3rd floor of the Lyon County History Center.
Special guests invited to the Town Hall include Senator Jerry Moran, Senator Roger Marshall, and Representative Derek Schmidt. The conversation will be moderated by former 2nd Congressional District Candidate and KU Basketball National Champion, Matthew Kleinmann.
Andrea Garritano, Chair of the Lyon County Democratic Party, expressed enthusiasm for the event, stating, “The Lyon County Democrats are pleased to be hosting this Town Hall for the benefit of all 2nd Congressional District voters. From Coffeyville to Junction City, and Hillsboro to Topeka, we welcome all to join us in Emporia for an evening of discussion and engagement.”
