The No. 3 ranked Wartburg men’s track and field team had a successful day at meets hosted by Augustana (IL), Wisconsin-La Crosse, and Kansas. Tyrell Adams won the high jump, Nathan Kinzer won the 1500m, and Jack Kinzer won the 3000m steeplechase. Other top finishes included Christian Nunley in the hammer throw, Mason Lobeck in the shot put, and Carter Collet in the pole vault. Adams’ high jump ranks ninth on the program’s top 10 list, while Jack Kinzer’s steeplechase time remains 12th on the TFRRS list for the season.
Additionally, Jensen Clapp had an impressive 400m time at the Kansas Relays, ranking sixth on the program’s top 10 list. Deyton Love qualified for the final in both the 110m and 400m hurdles. The team will continue their success at the Kansas Relays tomorrow. Collet’s pole vault performance also stands out, ranking first on the program’s all-time top 10 list. Nunley’s hammer throw remains second on the program’s top 10 list.
