The Kansas State men’s golf team is gearing up for the final stretch of the 2024-25 season with upcoming tournaments including the Tiger Intercollegiate at The Club at Old Hawthorne in Columbia, Missouri. Ranked No. 55, the Wildcats have had success at this event in the past, finishing third or better in seven of their last eight trips. Coach Grant Robbins is excited to be back competing and looks forward to the challenge of the par-70 course. The team lineup includes seniors Nicklaus Mason, Kobe Valociek, and Cooper Schultz, along with freshman Erik Sabelström Holmberg and junior Alex Lindstrom.
In their last tournament, the Wildcats finished second, with Schultz and Valociek earning top-10 showings. Mason leads the team in scoring average this season, followed by Valociek and Schultz. Sabelström Holmberg and Lindstrom are also making valuable contributions to the team. K-State has a strong history at The Club at Old Hawthorne, finishing third two years ago. The Tiger Intercollegiate will feature teams from various universities, with the first 36 holes starting on Monday and the final round on Tuesday.
