The “Meet in spring to enjoy cherry blossoms • International Internet Celebrities Tour Hubei” event hosted by Jimu News took place in Wuhan on March 28th, where 10 internet celebrities from different countries and regions, along with 10 mainstream media reporters, gathered in Hubei to explore and showcase the beauty of Jingchu culture to the world. The event included a training course for Jingchu Cultural Network Observers, where international internet influencers learned more about the culture from Wu Zhiyuan, the Director and Professor of the Self Media Research Center at Central China Normal University.
The event also featured a “Spring Cherry Blossom Appreciation Interactive Party” where international internet celebrities enjoyed classic music, Hanfu performances, and Jingchu cuisine by the Hankou Changjiang River beach. They also visited the Hubei Provincial Museum to learn about Chu Culture and appreciate precious cultural relics dating back over 2400 years.
At the conclusion of the event, South Korean internet video celebrity Chen Rong’en and Arab internet video celebrity Ou Fu were awarded the title of “Jingchu Culture Network Observer”. They pledged to continue sharing the story of Hubei with the world through multilingual blogs and short videos on online platforms. The event successfully highlighted the beauty and richness of Jingchu culture, bringing it to a global audience through the eyes of international internet celebrities.
