Independence police officers are seeking assistance in locating a 26-year-old man with autism who has been missing since February. Drayton Fanning was last seen on February 12 and is known to frequent areas near 31st Street and Linwood Boulevard in Kansas City, Missouri, as well as 71st Street in Shawnee, Kansas. Fanning is described as 6 feet 1 inch tall, weighing around 140 pounds with brown hair and brown eyes. Anyone with information on his whereabouts is urged to contact Detective Winans at (816) 325-7347.
In a separate incident, Harrisonville police are also trying to find a missing mother and her infant daughter. The community is rallying together in both cases to bring these individuals back home safely.
