The Kansas City, Kansas Police Department is seeking the public’s help in locating a missing 3-month-old baby named Hugo. Hugo’s mother left him in the care of Brittany Jones, a friend, while she went out of town. When the family returned to pick up Hugo, Jones refused to hand him over and left the country on a vacation. Jones has been charged with aggravated interference with parental custody in Wyandotte County and was taken into custody in Atlanta, Georgia. Hugo was last seen at Jones’ residence in KCK, but detectives believe he may be with a relative or friend who is unaware of the situation. Police are asking anyone with information on Hugo’s whereabouts to call 911 or the TIPS Hotline.
