Local restaurants in Kansas City prepare for winter storm ahead of hectic weekend

As Kansas City restaurants prepare for winter weather and Valentine’s Day, The Majestic and Le Fou Frog are gearing up for one of the busiest weekends of the year. General manager Nicholas Boden has been booked for over three weeks and is anticipating a high volume of customers, especially with a major volleyball tournament in town. Le Fou Frog owner Barbara Rafael is excited to offer a special Valentine’s menu and hopes to spread the love with their French cuisine. However, the restaurants are prepared for potential closures due to dangerous driving conditions on Saturday. Despite the uncertainty, they are grateful for the support from the local community and hope to welcome guests another time if affected by the weather. With a waiting list of over 100 people at The Majestic, both restaurants continue to adapt their operations to accommodate the increased demand, and are looking forward to a successful weekend ahead.
