Despite a late 13-0 run by Iowa State, a crucial 3-pointer from Hausen sealed the deal for Kansas State. The Wildcats committed 22 fouls but managed to overcome them and secure the upset. This win also marked Kansas State’s first road victory against a top-five team since 2017.
Moving forward, Iowa State will face TCU next Saturday while Kansas State will take on Arizona State on Tuesday night. This victory has certainly put Kansas State back on the map and will be a game to remember for Wildcats fans.
