Two Kansas City small business owners joined forces to create a stunning edible masterpiece in the form of Arrowhead Stadium made out of cake for the Chiefs during the AFC playoffs. The cake, a collaboration between Mike Elder of Black Sheep Custom Cakes and Cami SanRomani of Cami’s Cake Co., was the result of two days of painstaking decoration and then a two-hour journey to the stadium. Elder expertly crafted the stadium shape while SanRomani focused on intricate details such as jumbotron and field markings. The cake, designed to feed 350-400 people, impressed fans at Arrowhead Stadium, including Gracie Hunt, who praised the creation. The artists have worked on edible masterpieces for the Chiefs before, and Elder believes their cakes bring good luck to the team. As the Chiefs compete for the Lamar Hunt Trophy, the duo is currently working on a large order of cookies and cupcakes for the upcoming AFC Championship game. Their works have earned them a reputation for creating stunning designs and have even secured them two Guinness World Records.
