Guard Zeke Mayo also had a standout performance, contributing 24 points and drawing fouls to get to the free-throw line.

While the Wildcats put up a fight, KU’s defense held strong, maintaining their winning streak over their rivals at Allen Fieldhouse. Despite missing longtime starter KJ Adams due to injury, the Jayhawks were able to maintain their lead and secure the win. Dickinson finished with a game-high 25 points and eight rebounds, while point guard Dajuan Harris Jr. added 15 points.

For the Wildcats, Coleman Hawkins stood out with 15 points, 10 assists, and seven rebounds, while Max Jones and David N’Guessan also contributed to the team’s effort. Overall, K-State struggled with their shooting beyond the arc, shooting just 23.1%.

The Jayhawks utilized a two-big lineup to their advantage early in the game, jumping out to an early lead. Despite some challenges, they were able to hold off the Wildcats’ comeback attempts and secure the victory. With this win, the Jayhawks improved to 13-4 and 4-2 in Big 12 play.
