KU’s victorious home game against Arizona State


In a dominant 75-52 victory over Arizona State, Kansas women’s basketball had four players scoring in double figures. Led by junior guard Elle Evans with 22 points, the Jayhawks improved to 12-5 for the season. Freshman forward Regan Williams contributed 13 points and 8 rebounds, while sophomore guard Brittany Harshaw added 12 points and 6 rebounds. Sophomore guard Laia Conesa also chipped in with 11 points and 4 rebounds. Head coach Brandon Schneider praised his team’s defensive efforts, particularly highlighting Williams’ post defense. Kansas held Arizona State to just 33.3% shooting while shooting 47.5% themselves.

Up next, the Jayhawks will face off against Arizona on Sunday at Allen Fieldhouse. After struggling in the early part of the season, Kansas seems to have found their rhythm and will look to continue their winning streak. Fans are hopeful for another strong performance from the team as they aim to climb up the rankings in the Big 12 conference.
