Kansas City police are investigating a third homicide on Tuesday afternoon, responding to a shooting in the 3900 block of N. Lister Avenue. One man was found dead outside a residence with gunshot wounds, while another was found inside critically injured. The shooting is suspected to have started from an argument, and police are working to determine the victims’ relationship and a possible suspect. This incident is being investigated as a homicide. Detectives are urging anyone with information to contact the TIPS Hotline. Additionally, two other homicides were reported earlier that day and overnight. This includes a shooting on E. 63rd Street and Manchester Avenue where a man died, and a man found dead in a car on East 30th Street and Indiana Avenue. The police are actively investigating all three cases as separate homicides. The Kansas City community is encouraged to stay vigilant and report any relevant information to aid in the investigations.
