Cargas, a software company for fuel delivery and HVAC service companies based in Pennsylvania, has released its sixth annual Top Technology Trends in Fuel Delivery Benchmarking Report for 2025. The report highlights the increasing role of technology in the efficiency of fuel delivery operations, including the use of artificial intelligence, customer service software, tank monitors, and more.
According to Cargas, the report reveals that energy companies are realizing the potential for efficiency gains by adopting a wider range of software tools. The report explores industry trends in AI, dispatch and delivery, business intelligence, integrated systems, and investing in the future. While most respondents are not currently using dedicated AI, almost two-thirds are evaluating it for future use.
The insights gathered in the report are based on input from over 100 fuel dealers across North America, with a focus on small- to medium-sized businesses operating mostly in the northeastern and southern United States. The online survey conducted in September and October 2024 gathered data on the evolving technology landscape in the fuel delivery industry.
With a clear focus on efficiency and technological advancements, Cargas aims to provide valuable insights and guidance to fuel delivery companies looking to improve their operations. The full Top Technology Trends in Fuel Delivery Benchmarking Report is available for access on the Cargas website.
