Kansas City Police are currently searching for 30-year-old Bianca Blunt and her two children, 9-year-old Mia and 5-year-old Brooke. Blunt and her children were last seen leaving their home near East 49th and Skiles Avenue on foot around 3:15 PM on Wednesday. They were believed to have boarded an ATA bus to an unknown location. Blunt’s grandmother reported that she has not heard from them since and that Blunt has a Wifi-only phone, making it difficult to reach her.
Police have expressed concern as Blunt suffers from depression and is currently without her medication. Additionally, Mia, the 9-year-old, has lupus and requires daily medication.
Authorities are urging anyone with information on their whereabouts to contact the Missing Persons department at 816-234-5043 or 816-23-5227. The community is asked to be on the lookout for the missing mother and children and to report any sightings to help bring them back home safely.
