Proctor and Flagg rally No. 11 Duke after Kansas defeat with 70-48 win over Seattle

Duke Secures Dominant Win Against Seattle

DURHAM, N.C. – In a commanding performance, No. 11 Duke defeated Seattle 70-48 on Friday night, with Tyrese Proctor leading the Blue Devils with 13 points. The Blue Devils showcased their defensive prowess by limiting Seattle to just 21.3% shooting.

Freshman Cooper Flagg contributed nine points, nine rebounds, and seven assists in the victory. Duke, coming off a recent loss to No. 1 Kansas, bounced back with a strong showing on both ends of the court.

The Blue Devils established a comfortable lead early in the game and never looked back. They held Seattle scoreless for the first eight minutes of the second half, paving the way for a dominant victory.

Seattle struggled to find their offensive rhythm, making only 10 of 47 shots throughout the game. Despite a solid effort from Matthew-Alexander Moncrieffe, who recorded nine points and 12 rebounds, the Redhawks couldn’t keep up with Duke’s relentless defense.

Looking ahead, Seattle will host Portland State on Wednesday, while Duke is set to face off against No. 4 Auburn in the ACC/SEC Challenge. The Blue Devils will be seeking another impressive win against a top-ranked opponent.

With this victory, Duke improves to 5-2 on the season, while Seattle falls to 2-5. The Blue Devils continue to prove themselves as a force to be reckoned with in college basketball, showcasing their talent and determination on the court.
