Kansas high school football fans were treated to an exciting day of championship finals on Saturday. The day kicked off with the 6A finals, where Olathe North faced Derby. Olathe North emerged as the champions, claiming victory with a 20-12 win over Derby.
In the 5A finals, Mill Valley took on Wichita Northwest. Mill Valley put on a dominating performance, securing a 45-14 win over Wichita Northwest to clinch the championship title.
The 4A finals saw St. James Academy going up against McPherson. St. James Academy came out on top in a tight match, edging out McPherson with a 20-17 victory to become the 4A champions.
The 3A finals featured Andale battling it out against Perry-Lecompton. Andale emerged victorious in a hard-fought match, defeating Perry-Lecompton 35-21 to claim the 3A championship title.
