Travelers from around the world are flocking to Kansas City International Airport in anticipation of the Thanksgiving holiday. Among them are Janice Bonat and Leonard Wagner, eagerly awaiting the arrival of their daughter and her fiance from Chicago, who are visiting for the holiday. The couple expressed their excitement over spending their first Thanksgiving together since getting engaged, with plans for lots of eating, a showing of the movie ‘Wicked’, and a visit to the CPKC Holiday Train at Union Station.
Alex Penrose and Caroline Guerin, visiting from Texas, also have a full agenda ahead of them, including trying Kansas City BBQ sauce and spending time with family. With a tradition of traveling to be with family during the holidays, Caroline and Alex plan to fly back to France for Christmas. As travelers come and go, the spirit of Thanksgiving and family bonding is evident at KCI.
