Cowgirls Set for Big 12 Championship Showdown Against Utah

The Oklahoma State Cowgirls are gearing up for their first match in the Big 12 Women’s Soccer Championship, facing off against the Utah Utes at 11:30 a.m. on Wednesday in Kansas City. The Cowgirls, who finished their regular season with an impressive 13-3-3 record, have secured the No. 5 seed in the tournament.
Ranked No. 22 nationally and holding a 30th position in the NCAA RPI, Oklahoma State aims to make a significant impact in the championship as they seek their first NCAA Tournament appearance since reaching the Sweet 16 in 2020. The Cowgirls have showcased dominant performance this season, outscoring their opponents 39 to 8 and leading the NCAA with a remarkable 15 shutouts, which included a record nine consecutive shutouts at the season’s start.
