One person is seriously injured after a hit-and-run incident in a marked crosswalk on 6th Street in Kansas City, Missouri. The incident occurred at around 1:15 p.m. on October 19 when an unknown passenger bus struck a pedestrian and fled the scene. The victim was left in very critical condition and has been taken to a local hospital for treatment.
The Kansas City Police Department responded to the incident and located the bus at around 5:40 p.m. The driver is said to be cooperating with the investigation. The victim’s condition remains serious, and the investigation is ongoing.
