A serious multi-vehicle crash in Kansas City has left one person fighting for their life in the hospital. The incident, which occurred early Saturday morning, involved a Toyota Sequoia speeding on East 8th Street, colliding with a Cadillac Escalade parked on the road. This caused a chain reaction involving several other vehicles, including a Chevrolet Equinox, Toyota Corolla, Nissan Altima, and Nissan Versa. The Sequoia eventually overturned, ejecting the driver, who sustained life-threatening injuries. The driver was not wearing a seatbelt and was the only person in the SUV at the time of the crash. Emergency responders transported the driver to a Kansas City hospital, where they are currently in critical condition. Fortunately, no other individuals were injured in the crash.
