FanDuel to Rebrand Regional Sports Networks, Including Kansas City, Under Bally’s Ownership

FanDuel and Diamond Sports Group have announced a partnership that will rebrand 16 regional sports networks as FanDuel Sports Network, following the bankruptcy of Bally Sports Kansas City’s parent company in March. This move will allow FanDuel to promote its content on live NBA, NHL, and MLB games on the network, with plans to potentially combine their streaming services. FanDuel, originally a fantasy sports company founded in 2009, has since expanded into sports betting and online betting after merging with Paddy Power Betfair in 2018.

The newly rebranded networks will cover various regions across the United States, including Detroit, Florida, Great Lakes, and more. Viewers can access local games through fanduelsportsnetwork.com by logging in with their TV provider credentials or subscribing directly to the service. FanDuel will also be able to resell Diamond’s direct-to-consumer product as part of the agreement. Although the financial details were not disclosed, the partnership includes additional economic and equity elements.

The partnership brings exciting opportunities for sports fans to continue enjoying their favorite games on the newly named FanDuel Sports Network. The change is set to take place on October 21, providing fans with access to a wide range of sports content across different regions in the U.S. This move marks a significant step for both FanDuel and Diamond Sports Group as they join forces to offer fans a unique and enhanced sports viewing experience.
