Harris Urges Trump to Participate in Another Debate as Democrats Unveil ‘Chicken’ Billboards, Reports Kansas Reflector

Vice President Kamala Harris is pushing for another presidential debate with GOP nominee Donald Trump before the November 5th voting deadline, but Trump has shown no interest in participating. The campaigns have not been able to agree on organizing a second debate, with Trump stating he would not participate in another one. Harris has agreed to participate in a CNN debate on October 23, and urged Trump to do the same. The Democratic National Committee has even resorted to mobile billboards calling Trump a “chicken” to try to pressure him into debating.

In response to the lack of a second debate, Harris and Trump are both in talks with the CBS show “60 Minutes” for detailed interviews that would air back-to-back on October 7th. The vice presidential candidates are also set to debate on October 1st in New York City.

As the campaign trail heats up with just over six weeks until voting ends, Harris will be rallying supporters in Pennsylvania, Arizona, and Nevada, while Trump will be discussing his tax plans in Georgia and making stops in North Carolina, Michigan, and Pennsylvania. Democratic vice presidential nominee Tim Walz and Republican vice presidential candidate J.D. Vance are also set to hold campaign events in various swing states.

With the countdown to the election ticking, the pressure is on for both candidates to engage in further discussions and debates to allow voters to hear their contrasting visions for the country before making their decisions at the ballot box.
