The Kansas cross-country team had a successful start to their season at the Bob Timmons Classic at Rim Rock Farm, taking team titles in both the men’s and women’s races. The women’s team had a strong showing with three of the top four spots overall, led by fifth-year senior Kenadi Krueger. The men’s team also performed well, with juniors Tanner Talley and Quenton Walion leading the way. The team emphasized running as a pack and executing their race plan, which paid off with a strong showing at the event. Other schools in competition included Kansas City, McDaniel, Oral Roberts, and Park U. The team will not return to action until the Gans Creek Classic in Columbia, Missouri on Sept. 27.
