The search for a man in the Missouri River near Kansas City is set to resume on Thursday after a failed attempt on Wednesday night. The Kansas City Fire Department had searched the area east of downtown but did not find anything. The search was prompted by a call received just before 9:00 p.m. stating that someone had entered the water nearly six hours earlier and was possibly stranded. Despite using drones and manual search techniques, the victim was not located. The search will be continued by the highway patrol on Thursday morning for a 25-year-old man who reportedly entered the water to swim but was unable to return due to the current. The search operations will focus on multiple areas identified as places of interest for investigation. Residents are advised to be alert and provide any information that may assist in locating the missing individual. The safety of residents and the efficiency of search operations are a top priority for the authorities.
