Jamie Foxx is opening up about a mysterious “medical complication” he experienced last year, which left him on a lengthy road to recovery. In an undated video circulating on social media, the Oscar-winning actor revealed that he had a bad headache on April 11, 2023, and then blacked out for 20 days. Foxx mentioned that he was taken to multiple doctors, but did not disclose further details about his health issue.
Foxx had previously alluded to his health scare while accepting an award in March, promising to share the details in a funny way. He made his first major public appearance in December to accept an award, where he revealed that he couldn’t walk six months prior and described a harrowing experience of almost seeing the devil in a tunnel during his health scare. Foxx’s daughter had also shared that he had experienced a medical complication but was already on the path to recovery.
In July, Foxx posted a video on social media to assure his fans that he was doing better and on the road to recovery. He mentioned that he did not want fans to see him with tubes and in a vulnerable state, but now had his legs under him and was ready to make a comeback. Foxx’s health scare had worried fans, but it seems that he is now in a better place and planning to return to the stage with more comedy and stories to share.
